The human images found on our nation’s postage
stamps afford great teaching opportunities as well as insight into what persons
have come to be indelible icons within our national memory. Historic African-Americans
have been assembled by the postal service to grace their postage stamps. This
exhibit is directed at school children and
will include enlarged images of the
stamps and biographical data.
It will become a traveling exhibition.
